Formerly the Irvington Arts Collective, we've grown into Open Circle Arts — a community built on belonging, in the heart of Indianapolis.
A new name for a growing idea
We began as the Irvington Arts Collective, a dynamic, inclusive space for artistic expression, learning, and social change. As we grew, we found ourselves returning again and again to one image: a circle that stays open — always room for one more.
Today, Open Circle Arts focuses that energy in two connected homes: the Harmony Collected Community Choir and Embodied Creativity.
Sing. Create. Belong. We connect people through the arts — so that everyone, regardless of background, experience, identity, or income, has a place to be seen, welcomed, and valued.
Belonging over gatekeeping
No auditions. No prerequisites. Community is the first thing we build, and excellence grows from it.
Access for all
Reduced and waived fees mean cost never decides who gets to sing or create with us.
Art for social good
We make music and art in service of social, environmental, and restorative justice.
Rooted in Irvington
We're proud to call Indianapolis's Irvington neighborhood home, and to represent it well.
